I’m here for my orientation and I’m waiting bc I came in early and now I feel weird just standing here 😕
I’m starting to feel more nervous about orientation now…
on the bright side, I have a phone session with my therapist in 20 minutes, and I showered which means all I’ll need to do is get dressed in my work clothes and clean myself up a bit before I go. Plus, I’ve washed my sheets, so I’ll make my bed before I go and when I come home tonight, I’ll have clean sheets to sleep in!
Today is my first day at my new job. I don’t have to be there until 4:30 this afternoon, and it’s just orientation/paperwork. I surprisingly don’t feel as nervous as I thought I would. But maybe as it gets closer to the time I have to leave the nerves will kick in. Regardless, I’m excited for this new chapter in my life, and I know that I am very much capable of doing this, despite my anxiety telling me I can’t.

I thought the spiderverse movie would take the “Miles has a one sided crush on Gwen” route but my girl
- thought about him non stop for a year

- Wore his hoodie (ik ik she was trying to hide her spidey costume but us girls know what the “wearing a boy’s hoodie” means)
- literally made a team to rescue him because she believes in him

You do not need to be perfect, and to expect perfection from yourself is to set yourself up for failure. Set reasonable goals and celebrate when you meet them! Celebrate small wins! And don't beat yourself up for mistakes, mistakes are normal and okay.

I would like to start by saying that this fic (as well as the rest of your fics) deserve so many more reblogs. The way you write Cassian just feels…right. I can’t really explain it.
I found it interesting to read from the reader’s perspective this time instead of from Cassian’s perspective. It solidified in my mind my love for the way you write your female characters.
While reading, I felt like I was immersed in the story, which I really enjoy. I like stories, fics, and drabbles that pull me away from reality and put me in my favorite fictional worlds. I haven’t read a ton of Cassian fics, so my opinion may be biased, but you are my favorite Cassian writer <3 I get lost in the stories you put out, and I love that.
I look forward to every Cassian fic you put out, and I cannot wait to see what’s next because I know I’ll love it!
Good morning and happy Friday!
Today is laundry day, and aside from that, I also want it to be a cleaning/organization day. My room isn’t horribly messy, but a good wipe down and vacuum are in order. The bathroom I share with my siblings is in need of a clean and a re-organization.
Truthfully, I’m not sure how much cleaning I’ll get done today. The best plan of action would be to make a realistic list of specific cleaning tasks I want to get done.
